The cardinals received a 3rd and a 4th round draft pick, the Ravens received Boldin and a 5th round pick.

Boldin agreed with the Ravens on a 3-year, $25 million extension on his contract. Boldin currently has 4 years and $28 million left on his contract from the Cardinals.

Last season with the Cards, Boldin had 84 catches for 1,024 yards and 4 touchdowns. In Boldin’s 7 year stint with the Cards he had 586 catches for 7,520 yards and 44 touchdowns.

The contract is reportedly worth over $40 million over the first 3 years of the 6 year deal.

Last season with the Carolina Panthers; Peppers had 10.5 sacks, 2 interceptions and 5 forced fumbles.

The 30 year old  Peppers was the top free agent on the market in 2010 making the bears defense that much harder to beat.

Williams has spent the last 2 seasons with the Browns 3-4 defense making 81 tackles and 4.5 sacks in the stretch.

Before joining the Browns, Williams played with the Green Bay Packers 4-3 defense for 4 years. In 2006 and 2007 Williams had 69 tackles and 14 sacks.

The Detroit Lions run a 4-3 defense which seems to suit the 29 year old Williams quite well.

Taylor has played with the Bears’ division rival Minnesota Vikings for the last 4 seasons, rushing for 18 touchdowns in the stretch. In 2009 Taylor carried the 94 times for 338 yards and 1 touchdown. Taylor was the Vikings starter until they drafted running back Adrian Peterson, making Taylor the back up.

The Bears are also looking to sign DE Julius Peppers to a 6 year deal worth about $12 million per year for the first 3 years, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

Vanden Bosch has spend the last 5 seasons with the Tennessee Titans and has recorded 43.5 sacks with them. In 2009 he had 45 tackles and 3 sacks.

Vanden Bosch is the 2nd big free agent signing for the lions this free agency. The lions also signed WR Nate Burleson to a 5 year deal.

The 25 year old Cromartie had 33 tackles and 3 interceptions in 2009 for the Jets. In 2007 he had 44 tackles and 10 interceptions.

Cromartie will team up with Jets’ cornerback Darrelle Revis, in what will be one of the NFL’s best cornerback duos.

In 2009 with the Seattle Seahawks, Burleson caught 63 passes for 812 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Burleson who will turn 29 in August was considered one of the best free agent wide receivers available. He will most likely be the Lions #2 receiver behind Calvin Johnson.
