Team USA Scores 6 Goals In First Period of Men’s Semifinal to Lead 6-0

The USA men’s Olympic hockey team scored 6 goals in the first period to lead Finland 6-0 after the first period.
Goal 1 – Ryan Malone (Unassisted)
Goal 2 – Zach Parise (Stastny, Rafalski) (PP)
Goal 3 – Erik Johnson (Pavelksi, Malone) (PP)
Goal 4 – Patrick Kane (Unassisted)
Goal 5 – Patrick Kane (Rafalski)
Goal 6 – Paul Stastny (Langenbrunner, Parise)
Brian Rafalski (Detroit Red Wings) collected his 8th point to lead all players in the 2010 tournament.
Finland Goalie Miikka Kiprusoff (Calgary Flames) allowed 4 goals on 7 shots and was pulled from the game.
The Winner of USA – Finland will face the winner of Canada – Slovakia in the Gold Medal game on Sunday. The two losing teams will face each other on Saturday for the Bronze.
